Co-owner of the Jewish Snack
Guy Miller
Ex-CIA. Quietly the most musical man in the room.
Guy Miller owns the Jewish Snack with his wife, and he runs the floor like a public performance: an American-born veteran with roots in Israel and Ukraine, ex-CIA, who found his soul in the Jewish quarter and never left.
He calls his wife only Katya. He keeps a Liberty button under the counter and an anthem in his back pocket, America My Love, which he performs when the room gets too quiet, as though silence were a threat he is personally responsible for clearing.
He is, quietly, the most musical man in the room, though he would rather you noticed the coffee. Because his nephew Ethan is one of the students, Guy lets the class take the cafe stage and rehearse there far more often than any paying customer ever could, which is how the Jewish Snack became the laboratory for everything they build.
