Feature musical in development

JEWISH

One class. One inherited songbook. Who gets to sing it next.

JEWISH is a contemporary musical feature that turns inherited Jewish songs into living popular culture for young Jewish, Jew-ish, adjacent, and non-Jewish audiences.

Why now

Jewish culture answers with music.

Antisemitism is rising and a generation has inherited holidays without history, melodies without meaning, jokes without memory. JEWISH answers that gap with cultural reactivation: old songs returned to living voices, told as memory, humor, argument, and renewal.

The most rebellious thing American Jewish culture can do right now is sing.

The film

Inheritance, belonging, and the noise that survival makes.

At MASA, an elite Manhattan performing-arts school, an eleventh-grade class collides by accident with old Jewish songs in Yiddish and Hebrew. To honor their teacher, Joseph Shapiro, who has just found the handwritten songbook of his late mother, Rebecca, they reimagine her songs in their own modern arrangements. Klezmer becomes hip-hop. A wedding tune becomes pop. A Yiddish folk song becomes a stage anthem. The conflict is not whether tradition survives. The conflict is who gets to sing it next.

Feature musical

Contemporary story, fifteen-song soundtrack, theatrical-first path, and a future concert version that can live beyond the screen.

Proof of concept

A ten-minute proof-of-concept builds the engine the feature runs on.

A ten-minute, AI-assisted proof-of-concept brings the world, the songs, and the key situations of JEWISH to the screen. It is the tool we take to producers and financiers to raise full production funding: a vivid, efficient way to show how the inherited melodies land when they are reborn in the cast's own modern arrangements.

Listen

Forever is the first public song.

Forever rebuilds the Mezinka wedding ritual as a song anyone can sing. It is the clearest proof of concept: inherited melody, contemporary pulse, communal joy.

Why Reboot

A Jewish story built for scale, argument, and song.

Diaspora vision

A class drawn from many worlds brings inherited melodies into the genres they actually live in.

Young audience

A Gen Z ensemble remixes old songs into contemporary forms without sanding away their roots.

Culture against fear

The film answers antisemitism with public music, humor, argument, and a shared stage.

Premium with scale

Feature musical, soundtrack, school materials, and live concert path designed beyond a single screen.

Beyond the film

The film comes first. The world keeps singing after.

The feature carries the songs, the ensemble, and the central idea in one premium form. A second life is already mapped: a stage transfer drawn from the film's own ending, a soundtrack album, a touring concert, and community choir materials. The universe is shaped by the film, not the other way around.
