Aviva comes from an observant lineage, and she brings the longest memory in the room. Her first instinct is reverence; her second, and sharper, instinct is to ask why nobody seems to be listening to these songs anymore.
Where Yuki Tanaka pushes the music forward, Aviva pulls it back toward where it came from, and the friction between them is one of the engines of the class. She is the one who reminds the others that a revolution without memory is just noise.
She shares the room's sense of history with Noah Harrison, and an instinct to protect the source with Joseph Shapiro.
