The songs came first

I began making songs in English in 2017, as singles and for an unproduced stage concept called Jewish the Musical. I paid to present the idea at events where writers could pitch to producers. In the feature film JEWISH, the students create a show with that name; the film is a separate, developing work.

One producer liked the idea and invited me to his festival, where I presented twelve of my songs to a ticket-buying audience. That performance qualified me to join The Dramatists Guild of America. JEWISH now brings the developing story to film.

The story moves to film

I am revising the feature screenplay myself with AI-assisted tools. The creative choices are mine. A separate first-draft short, The Long Walk for a Slice, is the proposed first production step; it has not yet been produced.
