Tyron Carter
Klezmer becomes hip-hop on his desk first.
Tyron Carter is the room's rhythm engineer, a hip-hop arranger from Harlem who hears the pulse under everything. Klezmer becomes hip-hop on his desk first, before anyone else in the class believes the two could share a bar.
He turns ancient weeping into modern beats without flattening either one. Where others bring feeling, Tyron brings architecture: he builds the floor the rest of them get to dance on.
He is the steadier hand behind a louder one, the technical mentor to Ethan Miller, and he works closely with Oksana Shevchenko when the violin needs a heartbeat to ride.
